Post-Covid-19 Economic Recovery Strategy

The Principal Secretary for Planning Saitoti Torome briefs The National Treasury and Planning  Cabinet  Secretary, Amb. Ukur Yatani and the Senior Staff on the  upcoming Economic Recovery Strategy at Serena Hotel, in Nairobi on 18/11/ 2020.

The National Treasury has been coordinating the preparation of a Post-Covid-19 Economic Recovery Strategy (ERS). The Strategy will be implemented in 2020-2022.
The ERS is designed to mitigate the adverse socio-economic effects of the pandemic and facilitate opening up of the economy, accelerate economic recovery and attainment of higher and sustained economic growth. It provides a road map for transition to the fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP) and a new development framework beyond the current Vision 2030.
